Bower Hinton, Ash and Martock Runners was established in 2016 as a free-to-join, community-minded running club. We promote and support local running and triathlon event organisers as well as the events organised by other local running clubs. BHAM are equally at home taking part in, marshalling/volunteering or just spectating at races and events throughout the year.
We strive to be inclusive, cater for all abilities and promote mental and physical wellness. We are Bhamily!
Our recent Couch 2 5K programme saw 16 members graduate with flying colours around one of our favourite routes. The event was kindly sponsored by Marc Purdy Paving, allowing us to reward our graduates with medals and certificates for their achievements.
We meet at Martock School on Monday evenings at 18:30. We endeavour to host a couple of group run options and have a complement of LiRF-trained run leaders to ensure club nights are structured and safe.
Our existing members have a wide range of running, swimming and cycling experience under their belts, and are always able to provide the benefit of their knowledge and experience to others.
